Waivers:
- Teams can release a player to the waiver wire and other teams can submit claims for the waived contract.
- The team with the highest waiver priority will get the player and take on the original contract.
- If a player is not claimed by another GM within 24 hours, the original team will receive a cap penalty worth 50% for each season remaining on the contract.
- A team can choose to absorb the entire penalty in the current year or stretch it out over length of the original contract.
- Each season's starting waiver priority is the reverse order of the team standings from the previous season.
- After you win a waived player, you are placed at the bottom of the waiver priority.
- NEW RULE: Players with RFA status can be waived *PENALTY FREE* at any point during their contract
Amnesty:
- Each GM has a one time amnesty clause that can be used for any player.
- You will only be allowed to have one for your entire stay in the league, so use it wisely.
Mid-Season Ownership Change:
- New owners get 48 hours to make one penalty-free drop if they choose.
Conditional Drops:
- Allowed for trading purposes or bidding on RFA's and UFA's.
- In your post you must specify which player you plan to drop if your trade is passed or bid is won.
- AFTER your trade has passed or bid is won, you must make a post in the "Waivers" thread.
- If you post a conditional drop and you win a bid or a trade is passed, then the drop is valid no matter what

- Player immediately becomes a UFA once dropped and cannot be claimed by other teams.

- Example: You bid on two players (Players A + B) with one roster spot. You must include a CD on Player B. Even if Player A is outbid and you win Player B, your CD is still valid and you will drop that player.
