Votes against the previously proposed Rookie Scale were 8 to 3
This is more to test interest in a scale without numbers set in stone. I think it would be wiser to use something close to what @broncosbrian posted below.
Option A: Leave contracts as they are, continue using real life base salaries for rookies drafted in FNFL.
Option B: Use a new rookie scale that is TBD. Will NOT be crazy expensive but will provide a way to eliminate the randomness of IRL base salaries and make it so that the contract of the player you select corresponds to where you picked them in FranchiseNFL, not where they were picked IRL. We don't use real life salaries for any extensions or franchise tags, those numbers are based off of what our salary cap and contracts look like. Changing rookie salaries to a scale would allow us to maintain consistency between all of our contracts and salary cap in FNFL.
