This will have very little affect on offensive players, but many IDPs (specifically DL / DB) have multi-position eligibility on Fantrax when they do not play more than one position IRL. This is especially true for rookies, as most DL and nearly every DB has positional eligibility at both DT/DE, DE/LB, or CB/S.
This change (paired with a change in IDP scoring) would make roster building much more strategic, rather than being able to set a full lineup without a true DT or CB each week. Position eligibility appeals would still be allowed as Fantrax is not always 100% accurate with their positional designations.
It's not leading to many unfair advantages when everyone has a chance to grab multi-position eligibility DL or DBs, but it takes much of the strategy out of team building & seems to actually negate any advantage you might have from owning players like Aaron Donald, Cameron Heyward, Myles Garrett, Kenny Moore, etc.
