Matchups of the Week:
Cardinals (6-4) vs Buccaneers (5-5)
Broncos (7-3) vs Texans (6-4)
49ers (5-5) vs Panthers (4-6)
Other Notes:
AFC East: With a win this week to keep them within one game, the Bills (vs CLE) will have an opportunity to tie New England for the division in a H2H matchup in week 10
AFC North: Browns are likely out of the division race with a loss this week, but have the easiest schedule in the league over the final three weeks if they can pull off a win (vs BUF)
AFC South: The Texans & Colts have had the opposite result every single week of the season so far (every week the Colts have won, the Texans have lost & vice versa) -- both teams are now 5-5 and face difficult opponents in three of their final four matchups
AFC West: Raiders should cruise through their next two matchups while Denver & Los Angeles face off against other AFC wildcard hopefuls before matching up H2H next week
NFC East: Eagles have a very light schedule over their next three (MIN, NYG, BAL), while Dallas & Washington have a H2H matchup in week 10 -- could very easily see a three way tie heading into the final week, with no team having claimed a H2H tiebreaker yet
NFC North: Lions control their own destiny for the division, will not face any team above .500 rest of season, while their points lead on Seattle for the top seed has grown each of the last two weeks
NFC South: still a bloodbath, but one last round of H2H matchups in week 10 (ATL/TB, NO/CAR) should help provide some clarity on H2H tiebreakers
NFC West: Seattle has all but locked up the division, but Arizona has a real chance to push for a 10 win season with no opponents over .500 rest of season -- 49ers firmly in the wildcard race as well, with wins in 4 of their last 5
